Background & Tracks Edit
Neutral Milk Hotel created this album in 1998, which surprises a lot of people considering that the style and choice of lyrics makes these guys sound a little ahead of their time. There are 11 tracks on this album.

2. King of Carrot Flowers Pt. 2 & 3
3. In The Aeroplane over the Sea
4. Two-Headed Boy
5. The Fool
6. Holland, 1945
7. Communist Daughter
8. Oh Comely
10. The Penny Arcade in California
11. Two-Headed Boy Pt. 2
Songs I Like, and Don't Like... Edit
I bought the vinyl of this album, and on side 1, it says "Tracks 1 - 7", meaning the first 7 songs. I listened to that first side about 3 times, because it was simply incredible. Unfortunetly, the last 4 songs on the album don't hold up as well as the first 7. It's not that they were bad, it's the comparison of the songs. Two-Headed Boy Pt. 2 was a good finish for the album, couldn't recommend a better song to finish it. All in all, a wonderful album.
Album art Edit
Chris Bilheimer apparently edited an old postcard design to create the album art, which is fantastic by the way. It's very unique, and in my opinion, matches the music perfectly. I wouldn't mind saying it's one of the best album covers I've ever seen.
Beautiful, and simple.
